about us Being formed in 2010, The Queensland ProfessionalFarriers and Blacksmiths Association is the result of the merger between the Australian Farriers & Blacksmiths Association (AFBA) and the Queensland Master Farriers Association (QMFA). Our membership comprises govt accredited and unaccredited farriers and blacksmiths. If you are interested in joining us you can contact our state secretary and she will give you the necessary information.
Our mission is to promote the growth of the farrier trade. We do this through regular clinics and competitions. These events help to improve the skills of our members as well as showcase our skills to the public.
