The Professional Farriers & Blacksmiths Association of Queensland (PFBAQ) is an incorporated association that promotes education, professional development, competitions, clinics and networking opportunities within the farriery and blacksmithing industries.

3. Membership Applications

Submission of a membership application does not guarantee acceptance. PFBAQ reserves the right to approve, decline, suspend or cancel memberships in accordance with its Constitution, Rules and Policies.

4. Event Registrations

Competition, clinic and event registrations are subject to:

  • Availability of places.

  • Compliance with event requirements.

  • Payment of applicable fees.

  • Acceptance of event-specific rules.

PFBAQ reserves the right to alter, postpone or cancel events where necessary.

5. Safety Requirements

Participants attending PFBAQ events must:

  • Follow all directions given by officials and event organisers.

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Work safely and responsibly.

  • Comply with venue rules and workplace health and safety requirements.

PFBAQ may remove any participant whose conduct creates an unacceptable safety risk.

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, logos, photographs, competition materials, educational resources and publications remain the property of PFBAQ unless otherwise stated.

No content may be reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PFBAQ is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or expense arising from:

  • Participation in events.

Additional - Terms when entering Competition Entries via the website

I acknowledge that farriery and blacksmithing activities involve inherent risks including burns, cuts, crush injuries, flying debris, equipment failure and other hazards associated with working around hot metal, tools, machinery and horses. I voluntarily participate in this event at my own risk and agree to follow all safety directions issued by PFBAQ officials and event organisers.
